Al Mamun Hossen developed more than 20 Unicode-based Bangla OpenType fonts in 2011. These fonts are designed to support the Bengali language and are encoded in Unicode. Unicode is a computing industry standard for the consistent encoding, representation, and handling of text expressed in most of the world’s writing systems. OpenType is a font format developed jointly by Adobe and Microsoft in the late 1990s. It is the successor to the TrueType font format. OpenType fonts are used commonly today and support Unicode, which means they can support multiple languages. We believe you’ll like our hard work.
